Tutor Personal Information
Tutoring Style and/or Experience
I am a very relaxed teacher. I Like to use personal experiences with students to further their understanding of subject matter. I am trained in various styles of teaching. I've taught students from grades 2-12.
Instruction entails more than assistants with assignments. Students will learn study tips, exam taking tips, and organization skills.
I began to instruct students in passing the high school exit exam in 2002. I tutored elementary school children during 2007-2008. Taught middle school and high school students in 2008-2009. Taught a legal course to high school students in 2010.
I received a B.A. from the University of New Mexico in 2006, Major in Criminology and Minor in History.
I am scheduled to receive a Juris Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in May 2011.
Passed California Basic Education Skills Test
Passed Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination
I've worked for both San Diego and Los Angeles Public Defender's Offices.
I am currently a reference assistant at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law Library.
