Tutoring Style and/or Experience

My tutoring experience begings as a high school student. I helped my peers in class in the subject of English (back in Venezuela). In the U.S. I would also help my peers who were taking Spanish as a second language. My performance in the English placement test at McClintock High School prompted the school to revise it and make a test that more accurately measured students knowledge of the English language. I also served as a peer counselor for Unitown, where I ran meetings and guided peers through the program of discussions and learning objectives. In college, I have tutored students in my free time on subjects ranging from Math to Psychology. References can be provided. I have also done translations and interpretations in all of the places where I have worked since I was sixteen years old.

I am a native of Venezuela, where I lived until I was fifteen years old. This gives me authentic first hand knowledge about speaking Spanish in a society where that language is prominent. I attended High School and College in the U.S. where I completed all grammar, language, writing, and composition courses with A scores. I speak both of these languages on a daily basis. I can speak, write, and understand conversational, professional, technical, and almost any level of these two languages.
