Tutoring Style and/or Experience

Hello! I am a Mathematical Economics and Latin double major in my senior year at Wake Forest University. This is my fourth year professionally tutoring, and I have experience with students spanning from ages 8-22. I have worked with many different ability levels, including both gifted and learning disabled students. I tutor Math, Latin, and Test Preparation for the SAT and the GRE (my scores available upon request). For students over 10, sessions are generally one hour; I offer a complementary 30 minute introductory session to ensure a good fit and to evaluate problem areas in order to form a lesson plan.

I am looking to become a teacher upon my graduation from Wake Forest, so be assured that my goal is to help you/your child become confident and comfortable with the material that they are learning- I've seen students develop such a passion for learning when they overcome the struggles that they face!

The best way to contact me is through email: annalaissa[AT]gmail[DOT]com. If I am accepting students, I will be happy to set up a complementary introductory session with you.
