My name is Kyle Randolph Bacon and I am excited about the opportunity to serve your academic needs, alleviate your potential fears regarding Mathematics, and work together as a team to strengthen your skill sets.
I have a BSW in Social Work from Howard University, MA in Counseling from the District of Columbia, and a MA in Educational Leadership from Trinity College. As a former Principal and 2003 Maryland Math Teacher of the Year, I fully understand the challenges that young persons experience learning Mathematics. I feel it is important to build one's confidence in this subject area through simple explanations of the given concepts, use real world examples to reinforce the skill, and praise you for a job well done.
In my experience in the classroom where I assisted many 7th grade students reach high levels of Proficiency, it is also important to use manipulatives when possible to assist the learner in grasping the material.
My aim is identify your learning style, develop a positive rapport with you, and ultimately help you become successful. To see the light bulb go off when you understand the concept is a joy and teachable moment.
Let's work TOGETHER TO HELP YOU BECOME THE BEST MATHEMATICS STUDENT YOU CAN BE!!! I look forward to academic experience together...Thank you in advance for the opportunity to serve.
Peace and blessings...
