At the present time I am teaching college and high school students for a private school, ACEprep, where I currently hold the position of head Math Instructor. This position allows me to teach and develop curriculum to engage students in various mathematical subjects up to Calculus, Statistics, Math Olympiads, and Quantitative Methods for Business. I work closely with students to develop specific math techniques and strategies to help them completely understand mathematical concepts.
I previously taught Multivariable Calculus at the University of California, Berkeley, for a rigorous Summer Math and Science Honors (SMASH) academy. I used technology and visualization tools to systematically develop and implement curriculum that focused on the physical applications of calculus with a ‘hands on’ approach to learning.
Additionally, as a 2003 graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, I have student teaching experience with college bound high school students through the Minority Introduction to Engineering, Entrepreneurship, and Science (MITES) program.
