I received my PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Chicago in 2010.
I offer high quality, yet affordable, tutoring in Math and Physics, all levels from grad school to college classes.
I have been doing this for 15 years, the last 5 years in the Univeristy of Chicago College tutoring program. There I supported students taking calculus, general physics and more advanced classes like multivariable calculus, linear algebra, mathematical methods for physicists, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics etc. My command of the material is close to perfection, in high school I've been to two international physics olympiads, and my GPA in the graduate school was 4.00.
I also offer preparation for the quantitative sections of exams like GRE, SAT, GMAT etc. My scores on GRE quantative (math) and GRE Physics were maximal.
I'm a seasoned tutor and easily detect gray areas in your knowledge that require a workout. Many students in math and physics stumble at the same typical points and my long time experience allows me to resolve these in the most effective way for the particular student. I emphasize understanding the basic logic behind the scene, which more often than not is omitted by textbooks, lecturers and some tutors. My students gain understanding instead of having to memorize gazillion mysterious rules.
It is a pleasure to help my students discover the logical beauty hidden in Math and Physics and have more fun along the way. Students typically comment how clear and logical my explanations are. When I was a teaching assistant at the University of Chicago, I had students that actually thanked me for dispersing the confusion in the textbook.
One hour with me will convince you of the high quality of my work so do not hesitate to contact me. My students usually call me again and again.
