Since 1994, Computer Kids Club based out of Bear, Delaware has been delivering supervised, challenging curriculums for its students in an ongoing, challenging after-school program at several schools in Delaware including MOT Charter School, Bunker Hill, Cedar Lane, and Silver Lake Elementary Schools. This program takes place in several phases throughout the school year and provides students with an incremental educational opportunity utilizing computer-based training focused on numerous educational subjects including math, geography, reading, writing, keyboarding, science, and art.
Students from around the world can now benefit and participate in The Computer Kids Club curriculum through the site. There are several subjects and sessions dates/times available that allow each student to take part at his/her convenience in fun, interactive challenges to enhance computer skills such as mouse, keyboarding, and intermediate computer skills. This curriculum and teaching techniques exceed the basics of standard education and help students learn the use of the computer, without feeling intimidated, making the programs and the computer an additional resource for learning, complimenting their continuing education. Computer Kids Club has continually demonstrated that their programs have improved skills in all subject matters, but most of all, have provided their students with improved confidence, focus, and fine motor skills.
