I just graduated from Kent State University in December 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree, in which I majored in Health Education. I completed student teaching in an area school, and am highly recommended by my cooperative teacher at the school, the head of the school health education department at Kent State, as well as other professors who have known me for many years.
While student teaching, I encountered students with different abilities and adjusted my teaching to cater to their needs. I offered tutoring sessions daily to students who needed additional help with their health education studies. I am a patient educator who knows there's a fine line between being too pushy and helping students to strive for achievement. It is my sincere hope that I can help your child succeed by instilling a sense of pride in their own accomplishments, even if they are small steps of improvement.
