Looking for budget-conscious customer to break into tutoring. I'll admit I don't have much experience (except helping friends and younger brother), but I have a knack for explaining things and making complicated things make sense. Have read a bit about different learning styles and learners with ADHD. Personally, I know and use a lot of memory tricks and learning tricks I've picked up over the years for information-retention. I want to be a tutor in the future as a side job (I love to teach one-on-one and I love the entrepreneurial aspects!) so I am very interested in perfecting my skills to do this for many years.
We can meet in the library or I can come to you! I have a very reliable car.
Elementary, Middle, High, College (Freshman and Sophomore)
English- mechanics, writing, SAT/ACT prep, ENGLISH AS SECOND LANGUAGE (I have foreign family, so I'm very understanding and patient with non-natives)
Social Sciences- History, government, psychology, sociology
Spanish (Elementary Spanish only)
most of the non-advanced math/hard science courses.
Since I am a novice I'll charge $8 dollars an hour (just shy over min wage)
Please let me know if you would like to get to know each other over coffee to see if I'd make a great match for you or your child!
