My teaching style is to first describe the underlying theory of the subject at hand. I like to use as many diagrams and graphs as I can; I feel this really helps students grasp the concepts. The next step is to carefully guide students through a number of examples ranging from simple to difficult, the end goal is to have students think for themselves, after all, I won't be next to them when they are taking their test. Finally, I allow students to work a quiz I put together. While they are working, I watch and take notes, listing out their strengths and weaknesses. When the students are finished, I grade their quiz, and I inform them of what they are doing correct and incorrect.
