Hi There! My name is Victoria and I am 24 years old.
After an extended stay living in Barcelona, Spain, I now reside in Chatham, NJ, and am more than willing to commute to NYC. I am half Spaniard by decent, and have embraced the Spanish language and culture all of my life.
From an early age, I have been drawn to the study of Spanish and have excelled at the subject ever since. I was placed in the advanced Spanish program in high school, and carried my interest for Spanish into college. At the university level, I extended my Spanish studies to advanced literature, comprehensive essays, poetry, public speaking, etc.
Once I relocated to Spain, I was extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Spanish children, to whom I taught basic English and shared many special meaningful experiences with.
When I am not teaching Spanish, much of my time is spent in childcare (such as nannying), as I find great personal reward from interacting and engaging with children on the whole.
I am energetic, encouraging, sensitive, and fun; I fully recognize that every child learns at his/her own personalized pace, and for that reason I customize the pace and style of the lesson, based on what is best for the individual child.
My lessons are typically 45 minutes in length, and include a snack.
I eagerly look forward to to meeting your child!!
