I am a career attorney/trainer/tutor who enjoys helping students at all levels gain greater understanding of a variety of subjects. I tend to prefer an interactive approach to tutoring that engages the student in the material and helps them to think critically about the topic. There is no greater joy than working with a student in a comfortable environment and watch them discover new ideas, thoughts, skills and an appreciation for all there is to learn. My specialties are in law and philosophy but I have also tutored many students in literature, English essay writing and editing, public speaking, etc. I have worked with Master's and Ph.D. students to help improve their writing skills and to critically analyze topics in their study area. I welcome online tutoring sessions either via Skype or through email correspondence supplemented with telephonic sessions.
I am a firm believer in Martin Luther King, Jr.'s famous lines: "The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character-that is the goal of true education."
