My own scores on standardized tests are all >99th percentile in both verbal and quantitative sections; for example, 339/340 on the GRE in 2013. This means you can expect the highest level of instruction in each category from just one tutor. On short notice, I can identify areas to concentrate on where the largest points gain can be achieved, or, given enough time, I can help the student post dramatic results. Confidence is paramount in test-taking and so I endeavour to make my sessions stress-free and enjoyable. You can expect an approach tailored to the student's needs and requirements. This is focused one-on-one tutoring. My primary objective is to help my students succeed. It is a privilege to have this opportunity to help people reach their academic targets.

I am also very excited about tutoring mathematics. What concerns me is that the student comprehend, and you can count on me to find many routes to this end. Having children in Middle and High School has acquainted me well with the curriculum, but my tutoring methods will exhaust the many effectively equivalent approaches to problems and mathematics topics in general to find how the particular student naturally learns. I am not bound by pedagogy but I do have a healthy respect for it.
