I've worked as a Wall Street professional for several of the top firms in Philadelphia and NYC for over 25 years. In 2013, I retired from Wall St. to pursue my love of mathematics in which I have both a Bachelor of Science degree from Drexel University and a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Washington. Combining my love of mathematics and experience in the world of finance, I started the Wall Street Preparatory Academy - which specializes in teaching students how to become profitable lifelong investors or pursue a career in finance/economics.
I strongly believe that Math and STEM literacy are key to student's academic and financial success in the 21st Century, so I've also focused on offering Math tutoring services to students of all ages. I'm able to tailor my tutoring style to meet the individual needs of each student - and enjoy teaching students in the way that they learn best. In addition to traditional tutoring services (homework help, test prep, extra practice, advanced math, financial literacy focus, etc.) I have several resources that can be incorporated in order to help engage students and allow them to visualize their learning - including 3D printing and hands-on learning games.
I've worked with students as young as 7 years old , as well as, adults looking to improve their skills and advance their career or personal financial situation.
