As a Ph.D. student in literature, it goes without saying that I have a passion for the subject. I not only enjoy reading and writing myself, but I take pride in helping others to better their own writing abilities, think of innovative essay topics, and put together strong arguments. As a teaching fellow at UCLA, I have hands-on experience at the front of a college classroom, leading discussions, analyzing texts and grading papers and exams. But what I really love are the individual sessions held in my office hours where I can work one-on-one with my students, helping them with the writing and reading assignments. In addition, I also have eight years worth of experience tutoring students in private homes and in school settings. I can help with middle-school and high school level reading and writing; I can also aid with college level analyses of literature, cultural studies and critical theory. Friendly, mature, responsible and patient, I enjoy working with children and teens as well as adults.
