I have been trained to tutor, by a number of different programs. I have run group learning sessions and taught laboratory classes. The most important thing I have learned from this experience is everyone has different learning styles. It's important for a tutor to determine this learning style quickly and apply it in the tutoring session.
It's important to understand that my time and your money is wasted if I watch you do homework. I don't do this, and you must be prepared to have specific subject problems for us to address. It's not that I am not willing to help, but every problem should be attempted when I arrive. I achieve results, but these results are faster attained if the student is prepared, and doesn't waste valuable time.
