Well, it has been a long ride for me before I really decide to teach even though I have been teaching 23 years, and taught over 3000 students. Realizing that teaching is just part of me and I enjoy being with students.
As for me, putting all your heart to make sure the kids achieve what they can achieve beyond what they told they can achieve is very rewarding.
Past 9 years in the city, I have been teaching Hunter College HS Prep, SHSAT Prep, where my track record is at least 33% have got admitted to Hunter HS, 40-45% into Stuyvesant HS, 30-45% to Bronx Science HS, the rest may be 5-10% to York/Brooklyn Tech.
Of those, after graduated from those HS, a lot of them have got accepted into top 50 Universities with scholarships.
However, for me I just wish that all my students have right attitudes to learn, not just good at studying, but all rounded! Of course, if I can help them think fast, and act fast, these will help to boost their
