To me, a student's self esteem is of prime importance. Although I expect my students to work hard in a focused atmosphere, I know that all individuals work best when their interest is engaged and when they feel happy and comfortable in their work environment. I try to pass on my own enthusiasm for the subjects I teach and I am quick to acknowledge when students do
their best. Praise is the best motivator I know.
